Alberto Hernandez, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2025, at the age of 58. He was born on April 19th, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York, to his late father Jose Hernandez and his beloved mother, Gloria Hernandez.
Alberto lived a life full of family, laughter, and generosity. He was known for the way he lit up any room and his unwavering devotion to his family. He was truly the key to the family. He was a hard worker, always striving to provide for his loved ones while never losing sight of what truly mattered—family, community, and connection.
He is survived by his devoted wife Mandavi Hernandez who dedicated her life to caring for him and their children, Myleen, Joshua, Lucy, Joseline, Ariel, Camille, and Junior; his grandchildren, Isaiah, PJ, Christian, Reyna, Carlito, RJ, Aryanna, Eli, Adryan, Eliana, and MyVina. His siblings and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him with love and admiration.
Services will be held at Seneca Chapel on January 18th and 19th 2025, from 4-8pm. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Alberto’s life and legacy.
Alberto’s legacy of love, hard work, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him along with the essence of family.
