Ana Cruz

Ana “Anita” Cruz was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She left this world to be with our Lord on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Anita loved life and all it offered. She always ensured every child who crossed her threshold would be safe, healthy and happy. She loved being creative and learning new things, like the study of painting. She was very good at teaching and sharing what knowledge she had to others — doing this selflessly.

She was a devoted lover of animals, particularly concerned about their welfare; especially her loving companion dog “Ryan” and her cheerful birds. Also, loved to plant — she could start a plant from just a twig.

Anita is preceded in death by her youngest son Harry Cruz and her mother Modesta Cruz.

Anita leaves behind her children: Ivonne Cumberbatch, Maria Lamberty, and Alfonso Ramos Jr.

Her family include the grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as, sisters: Glady, Inez, Tona and Tomasa.

The funeral service is scheduled Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM EST
