With profound sorrow and deep love, we announce the passing of Cathy Pena, who entered eternal rest on February 11, 2026. Born on February 1, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York, Cathy brought light, laughter, and love into the lives of so many.

Cathy was the proud and devoted mother of five children: Joshua Luis Reyes, Cristina Isabel Reyes de Paz, Victor Manuel Reyes, Amber Mayi Pena, and Bianca Pena. Her children were her heart, her purpose, and her greatest accomplishment.

She was also a loving grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Jayden and Lana Reyes, who brought her immense joy and happiness. Her aunts Marta and Maria whom loved her dearly. 

Cathy had a vibrant spirit. She loved arts and crafts, music, shopping, dressing up, and doing her makeup. She enjoyed expressing herself and always took pride in looking and feeling her best. Her laugh was unforgettable — full of life and warmth. One of her favorite sayings, “It’s you and me baby,” reflected the loyalty and closeness she valued in her relationships.

She was truly a lover and a giver. Cathy would give her last of anything she had just to show someone she cared. Her generosity was not measured by what she had, but by the size of her heart.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her love lives on through her children, her grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. She will be remembered for her strength, her spirit, her laughter, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
