Griceta A. Soberano

Griceta Angco Soberano, the loving matriarch of the Angco family, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025 in Wycoff Heights medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She was born in Gamu, Isabela Philippines. She was 92 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominador and Jesusa Angco, her husband, Erilhemello Soberano, her brothers, Cesar (Editha), Pompeyo (Perlita), Antonio (d. Marina), Virgilio (d. Elsa) and Manuel (d. Bai).

She is survived by her siblings, Marcial Angco (d. Maria), Ramon Angco (Glorina) and Corazon Viola (Virgilio Viola).

She was a proud and devoted mother to her children Roceo Lanel (Ronald Silvers), Divina Lilia (Angelo Manahan), Patrice Marlene (Edgardo Garcia), Earnest (Sheila) and Gemma (James Hansen),her grandchildren, Leynard Sabater (Leriza), Sam Jeremy Manahan (Kristelle), Patrick Vincent Soberano, Nicole Silvers, Ricky Patricia Soberano (Justin Hoffmann), Samantha Stresing (Spencer Stresing), Timothy Soberano (Kaely Banega), Precious Soberano and Gricet Soberano, as well as her great grandchildren, Peyton and Blaise Sabater, Olivia Manahan, Aurora Soberano, and Lily Stresing including her fur great-grandchildren, Tikvah Silvers, Rags Stresing and Dio Soberano.

Her memory is cherished by her extended family, near and far, friends and the community.
