Luz Rodriguez

Rodriguez, Luz (Lucy) Enid 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024.  She was born and raised in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico although for the last 40+ years, she resided in Brooklyn, NY.   She was a beloved Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wife.

She was a caring person, especially to the people in her community.  She was also willing to help others and open the door to those in need.  She especially loved and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.  She loved the summer beach time and holidays, especially during what she called the pasteles season.

Lucy will be sadly missed by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her family, and friends.  She is predeceased by her husband, Alfredo Lopez (Freddy), her mother, and her father. Lucy’s family was everything to her and she was very proud of the legacy she was leaving behind.
She will be greatly missed.
