Richard Freyer Jr

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard T. Freyer, beloved husband, father,
grandfather and brother, on January 14 th , 2025 at the age of 68. He fought a courageous battle with
cancer.
Richard grew up in North Babylon, NY. He was a great athlete and collector of Western Memorabilia. He
spent his later life in Queens. He was a dedicated salesman and prided himself on his reputation and
success. He was also known for his kindness and sense of humor.
Rich was clear-eyed about death and his relationship with God was strong. He was happiest with his
family around him and especially loved his nightly ritual of snuggling on the couch with his wife, Marta.
Richard was predeceased in death by his son Travis and his siblings, Patricia and Robert. He is survived
by his wife, Marta, his children, Cody Beau and Alvaro, his grandchildren, Sophia and Jax and his siblings,
Debra, Cathleen and Eileen.

A memorial service will be held at Seneca Chapels on February 2, 2025 11:30 – 1:30
