Ynes Antonia Taveras

Ynes Taveras was born on April 20, 1941, in Carrizal, Dominican Republic and emigrated to the United States to join her husband Rafael in 1968. She passed peacefully surrounded by her children, on the morning of August 14, 2025, in her home in Brooklyn, NY.

Through her many adversities, Ynes was always a beacon of light - always putting others first and spreading joy wherever she went. Her kindness and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Ynes is survived by her sons Ralph (Wife: Marisol; Children: Kaila & Karina), Luis (Wife: Marcia; Children: Marleen & Joel), and Orlando (Children: Selene & Jose; and their mother Marisol), her sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Her children and family are grateful for the love and lessons she shared. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Ynes Taveras nació el 20 de Abril de 1941 en Carrizal, República Dominicana, y emigró a los Estados Unidos para reunirse con su esposo Rafael en 1968. Falleció rodeada de sus hijos, en la mañana del 14 de Agosto de 2025 en su hogar en Brooklyn, NY.

A través de sus muchas adversidades, Ynes siempre fue un faro de luz, siempre poniendo a los demás primero y esparciendo alegría dondequiera que iba. Su bondad y fortaleza continuarán inspirando a todos los que la conocieron.

A Ynes le sobreviven sus hijos Rafael (Esposa: Marisol; Hijas:Kaila y Karina), Luis (Esposa: Marcia; Hijos: Marleen y Joel) y Orlando (Hijos: Selene y José; y madre de sus hijos Marisol), sus hermanas, hermanos, cuñadas, cuñados, sobrinas y sobrinos.

Sus hijos y familia están agradecidos por el amor y las enseñanzas que ella compartió. Será profundamente extrañada y vivirá para siempre en nuestros corazones.
